Alick Isaacs FRS〔 (17 July 1921 – 26 January 1967) was a British virologist. Isaacs and Jean Lindenmann, a Swiss virologist, are best remembered as the co-discoverers of interferon in 1957. He served as the Head of the Laboratory for Research on Interferon, National Institute for Medical Research, 1964–7.
